Bring what is present.
A feeling, pattern, relationship, boundary, memory, impulse, question, or place that feels stuck is enough.
Within
Within is a consent-based, Hakomi-informed space for personal, relational, emotional, and embodied questions. We slow down what is present now so you can listen more clearly, protect what matters, and move with more choice.
This work can support boundaries, expression, shame, anger, grief, identity, relational change, and repeating patterns that do not shift through effort alone.
When this helps
What a session is like
A session may include conversation, quiet noticing, somatic tracking, small experiments, relational reflection, and integration. Nothing has to be forced.
A feeling, pattern, relationship, boundary, memory, impulse, question, or place that feels stuck is enough.
We notice what is happening in body, breath, emotion, image, thought, impulse, language, and relationship.
We close with what feels clearer: a boundary, conversation, practice, pause, repair, or next step.
What makes this different
Many patterns began as protection. Within listens for the intelligence inside what has been bracing, hiding, pleasing, collapsing, pushing, or holding on.
We do not try to force the system open. Change becomes more trustworthy when it emerges from contact: with the body, with what matters, and with the part of you that has been trying to keep something safe.
The work can be gentle and still precise. It can include emotion, silence, humor, sensation, images, language, resistance, and the small signals that arrive before a person knows exactly what they mean.
Boulder Soma offers somatic coaching and facilitation, not psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis care, or medical treatment. The work may complement therapy or other forms of support, but it is not a substitute for mental health care.
Practical details
The first conversation is not a commitment. It is a way to meet, sense fit, and choose the cleanest next step.
First step
A brief, no-pressure conversation to explore what is bringing you here and whether personal somatic coaching feels like a fit.
Session rhythm
Some people meet weekly at first. Others meet every other week or return around a particular pattern, transition, or conversation.
Rate
Sliding scale
$120–$240 / session
Individual sessions are offered on a sliding scale to support both accessibility and the sustainability of the practice.
Fit
You do not need to know exactly what you want to work on. A felt sense, repeating pattern, emotional response, relationship question, or place of stuckness is enough.
Good fit
Within is a strong fit if you are curious about boundaries, expression, emotion, relational change, identity, shame, anger, grief, or a pattern that keeps returning.
Not the best fit
Boulder Soma is not a crisis, therapy, or medical provider. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, contact emergency services, a crisis line, or a licensed mental health professional.
Begin gently
You do not need the right words, a complete story, or a clear goal before beginning. The first step is simply to meet and sense whether this work feels like a fit.
